**The orby things over some of the pics are just floating dust that got magnified in the flash.**
My mom and I painted the red that will go behind the border, but that stupid blue tape didn't do jack! The red seeped right under it and onto the blue. I was so disappointed, we can't put the border up until I fix the stripes : (

Mom and Daddy put up the curtains and the VALANCE!!
And we put the crib together!! It took all of us (so funny) to get that thing done. Notice the puppy head at the bottom of the first pic, I couldn't get her to move. LOL

We will definitely be putting up the border next weekend. My Grandma has offered to buy the mattress for Baby! And we will hopefully be getting the dresser/hutch/changing table/whatever-we-decide-on by the end of March.
I'm so excited to be able to cross some stuff off of our list!!
I felt dumb smiling at myself in the mirror, which is why no smiles. And also, Little Man came at exactly 37 weeks. I was in the hospital in labor, so taking that last belly pic was not at the top of my agenda :)

Hey, the crib is similar to ours, except the left and right sides are solid wood AND the crip has a changing table/dresser connected to the right side. Your crib doesn't come with a mattress??? Hmmm...I thought they all did. But we got ours at a hole-in-the-wall warehouse place so they threw it in for free. Make sure you buy a waterproof mattress pad/liner too!
Really cute so far! Can't wait to see the finished product! Love the valance!
