Halfway done baking the bun!

I'm feeling Baby more consistently now and the kicking is harder. I'm hoping that they'll be detectable on the outside soon. How fun will that be!?

We bought our crib on sale this past Saturday, then on Monday, while perusing Craigslist for a rocker/recliner and other baby related items; I find what?...yep, you guessed it... our crib! For $40 less than what we paid at the store! Well, of course we can't just let a deal like that pass, so off we go to look at it, and it's still in the box, brand spankin' new! I don't know why the lady never used it, I didn't want to ask; we just paid her for it and left. We took the Target one back the next day, luckily, we'd decided not to put it together until after we got the nursery painted, so it was no problem taking it back. We also picked up a rocker/recliner for $75! It's really nice, only one little tear at the top corner where it probably hit a wall or something, but other than that, is in great condition. It's so comfortable too! I predict many hours of rocking Baby in this chair : ) I've decided that, to save space, we should get a hutch/changer combo instead of a dresser AND and changing table. The one I love is only available online, but the warehouse is only about two miles away, so I'm going to call Customer Service and see if there would be a way to pick it up ourselves instead of paying crazy shipping fees. Cross your fingers!

I was having some pretty crappy sleep and had been telling MyHoney about the raves I've read about the Snoogle, so he bought it for me! Let me tell you though, it's not just something you can jump into using. Evidently, it takes a bit of getting used to. The first morning, I felt like I'd been hit by a bus. I was sore and achy, my back hurt and my neck was stiff; not exactly living up to my expectations... The next morning was better, but I did have to wake up at 2 in the morning to turn over. You can't just do that either. So it is getting progressively better; I've given it a week to become fabulous or else I'm taking it back, but at this point I can see that I just might end up keeping it.

Our BIG u/s is next week! I don't know how I'll make it to Wednesday! We're taking the whole day off for it! After the disappointment at the last appt, I'm now doubly anxious for this one. I can't wait to see if my "maternal instincts" are correct. I've thought boy since day one, but MyHoney is convinced that Baby is a girl. I wanted to have the tech put the sex in an envelope to be opened at our belated Valentine's Day dinner, but MyHoney was adamant that he wanted to see it on screen. How can I deny him that? He asks for so little. And he's cute, so he'll be getting his way this time ; )

That's all the baby news for now.

MyHoney did take pics, but they didn't turn out so good, so I did another self-portrait. Behold, the 20 week belly:

We went and visited Boo last weekend. It was so much fun! We took her to Bisbee, an artsy little town with cute stores, a bunch of hills, and about a million stairs. It's true, my crazy parents and baby brother decided to climb them all! I parked my pregnant butt on a stair about half-way up and waited for them to come back down.

You can't really see it, but that staircase goes up and up and ends in a cloud.

After Bisbee, we went to see a shrine to Our Lady of the Sierras. There was a huge statue, a little church, a cross, and another million stairs! Only I had to climb these if I wanted to see the shrine, and believe me when I say, it was NOT an easy climb.

I rolled my ankle on the way back down the treacherous stairs. It hurt so bad! But all in all, it was a really great day!
