Pvt. Boo

My little sister has joined the ARMY! That's right folks! She is off to stand on the wall with a rifle that is as big as (if not bigger) than she is. I've had a couple of weeks to get used to the idea, but so far I haven't been able to NOT get emotional when I think about it. I am beyond proud that she has chosen this path, but at the same time, I get really sad and anxious about her leaving.

She leaves on Sunday (my birthday...great present...pfftt!!!) so say a little prayer for her safe travel to Fort Leanord Wood, Missouri, where she'll be for two months. When she's done there, she will do her AIT here in AZ. Love you Boo!! Good luck!!
