- There are new things to add to his vocabulary list. I have officially stopped worrying about it.
- Has mastered "ice" and likes it in his "agua".
- Asks for cheese! Yay! Finally!
- Says "uh oh" to random things.
- Will say "baby" whenever he sees one, or even when he sees himself in old pictures and videos :)
- MyHoney decided it was time to start him in on the arts, so he introduced him to my parents' piano. He had a blast pounding on the keys and making his "music".
- Kicks me out of the garage to help MyHoney work on the Mustang. It's sad and a little hilarious to see him waving bye bye to me as the door closes in my face.
- Knows what HOT is and blows on his food, even if it's not hot.
- He has completely rejected his high chair and will now only eat if he's sitting in his own chair at the table.
- He's semi-consistently using his fork. Most of the food gets dumped in his lap on the way to his mouth, but he's getting better!
- Will push his plate to me to let me know that he's done eating. It's much nicer than him throwing the unwanted food on the floor.
- I hardly have to take him upstairs to put him to sleep anymore, he'll lay down on the couch with MyHoney and pass out all on his own. Makes for a nice night for Mama :)
- Can put his puzzle together by himself. I shed a couple tears of pride the first time he did it without any help from Mama.
- We're one of those families that has the tv on all day mostly as background noise, I seriously have very little time to actually sit and watch it, so now he will ask for any tv that is off to be turned on. I'm pretty sure it's his background too as he seems to have zero interest in what is actually on.
Little Man's Uncle Brandon and Auntie Michelle got married this past weekend, so we traveled to CA to help them celebrate the happy occasion. On the way there we stopped in Blythe for some dinner. This kid has a serious love for ketchup. He dips everything in it and when there are no more fries or chicken bits left, he'll dip his fingers!
On Saturday, we all went to the Santa Ana Zoo. Little Man had so much fun running around that he had no time to look at the animals that we went there to see. I did get a really cool shot of him with a bald eagle though, so it wasn't a total loss.
The poor little guy caught something while we were there. By the end of the night, he was coughing and irritable. His uncle and auntie bought him the cutest Pirate Mickey sweater! He got it all dirty the first time he wore it, so I'll have to wash it before I can get any pics.
Here he is with the newlyweds!
We left the happy couple on Sunday morning and traveled to Hemet to spend some time with MyHoney's parents. Little Man was a full on cranky monster by the time we got there. He didn't want to take any pictures or even sit with Grandma and Grandpa, but he did take some pictures of his own...
On the way back to the great state of AZ that night, he started running a fever and by the time we got home, he was SICK. He slept in our bed because he kept coughing and gagging and we were scared out of our minds that he might choke during the night and we wouldn't hear him. After his second dose of tylenol this morning, the fever broke, but the cough remains. He seems to be feeling much better than yesterday.
And finally, Little Man took his film talents to a whole new level this morning and recorded a video.
